Why Choose Us?
Our crew and I bring decades of combined framing experience to every project.
And in 2026, I still believe that construction should involve a real person you can actually talk to. From the first conversation through completion, I stay involved to make sure the work is done with precision, the agreed-upon scope is clear, and you’re satisfied with the finished result.
If something comes up during the project, you can call me. No AI prompts, no endless automated menus… just a real person who knows the job.
New Homes & Home Additions
New homes and additions are some of our favourite projects because they allow us to get involved early and make sure the framing plan is practical for the project from the beginning.
We work with homeowners, builders, and other professionals to coordinate the framing scope, account for the structure of the home, and make sure the work fits the requirements of the project and applicable Calgary standards.
For additions and work on existing homes, we can also work within the realities of an existing structure. Conditions aren’t always as straightforward as they are on a new build.
Basement Framing
A good basement starts with good framing.
Whether you’re finishing a basement, developing a legal suite, or renovating an existing lower level, the framing needs to work with the rest of the project, s including insulation, moisture management, mechanical systems, doors, windows and required clearances.
We can help frame the space with the overall finished project in mind, rather than treating the framing as an isolated step.
Where permits, plans, inspections or other requirements apply, we work within the requirements of the project and coordinate with the appropriate professionals where necessary.
Garage Framing
Garage framing can look straightforward, but the finished structure has to work with everything that comes after it.
Approved plans may include requirements that affect more than the framing itself, including structural loads, openings, roof design and the materials that will ultimately be installed.
We take these considerations into account when framing the structure so that the finished garage has a solid foundation for the exterior materials and other work that follows.
Calgary conditions can also make exterior construction more demanding. Soil conditions, snow loads, weather, and site access all need to be considered as part of the overall project.
Structural Framing
Some projects require more than standard wall and floor framing.
We work with architects, designers, and other professionals when a project involves structural modifications, load-bearing changes or more complex residential construction.
This can include wood, steel, and timber structural elements, depending on the project.
Our job is to execute the framing accurately and efficiently while coordinating with the plans, structural requirements and other trades involved in the project.
For structural modifications, we work from the applicable plans and engineering requirements rather than guessing at load paths or structural requirements on site.
Pricing
Residential Framing From $1.00/Sq. Ft.
For qualifying residential framing projects, our framing labour starts from $1.00 per square foot.
The actual price depends on the scope and complexity of the project. A straightforward new-build frame is very different from a structural renovation involving existing conditions, engineered beams, difficult access or demolition.
The starting rate may include:
- Standard wall framing
- Standard interior partition framing
- Standard floor framing
- Standard roof framing
- Standard door and window openings
- Framing labour for straightforward layouts
- Basic plan coordination
The starting rate generally does not include:
- Lumber and other framing materials unless specifically included in the quote
- Engineering or architectural services
- Engineered beams, posts or specialty structural components
- Trusses or other prefabricated components
- Demolition or disposal
- Concrete or foundation work
- Roofing, siding, insulation or other finishing work
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC or gas work
- Permits or municipal charges
- Major site preparation
- Unusual equipment or access requirements
Every project is different. We’ll review the plans, scope, location, access, timeline and existing conditions before providing a final price.
